In an intriguing alternate history, where the shadows of World War II still loom large, Japan finds itself gripped by a relentless storm of civil unrest and terrorism woven into its very core. In this world of turmoil and foreign occupation, Constable Kazuki Fuse, a valiant soldier hailing from an elite counter-terrorism unit, becomes an unwilling witness to the sheer horrors of human nature. A failed attempt to intercept clandestine munitions being transferred by a nefarious terrorist organization unveils a grim reality to Fuse, one that leaves an indelible mark on his psyche. As he futilely grapples to prevent a heart-wrenching suicide bombing executed by a desperate teenage girl, Tokyo is plunged into chaos and devastation. Haunted by the lingering tendrils of guilt and with his skills and competence being questioned, Fuse is forcefully returned to the military academy for re-evaluation. Yet, little does our intrepid protagonist know that the path that lies ahead is shrouded in a dense web of government conspiracies, lurking like a malevolent specter. A tangled tapestry of secrets and intrigue, capable of shaping the very destiny of Japan, awaits Fuse, beckoning him forth into its treacherous folds. As Fuse traverses the perilous tightrope between his humanity and the primal instincts within, a revelation slowly dawns upon him—a profound understanding of where his allegiances truly lie, and the stark realization that his choices may hold the key to the future of his ravaged homeland.
