Argument

Ryouta Sakamoto, an unemployed individual residing with his mother, boasts of being Japan's unrivaled champion in the popular online video game Btooom! Little did he know that his serene existence would be completely upended when he finds himself marooned on a desolate island, an enigmatic emerald crystal mysteriously implanted in his left palm and his memory wiped clean. What unfolds is a shocking revelation—an eerie real-life replication of the game he so ardently indulges in, with danger lurking at every turn and survival hanging in the balance. Equipped with a formidable arsenal of specialized explosive devices called "BIM," the players find themselves thrust into a harrowing ordeal: eliminate seven fellow participants and seize their coveted green crystals as the only means of securing a ticket back to reality. Initially repulsed by the notion of resorting to violence, Ryouta soon realizes that many of his fellow gamers harbor a dark side, leaving him no choice but to engage in a battle for survival.
