English

Oh spring, sweet spring
A shallow sigh wafts out in the fog
Oh love, beloved love
A redness that lights up my chest

A lantern sways in the window
Tonight, I'm waiting for you, but the
flower fan
Hides my futile tears

Oh night, tender night
Lamps rock and sway in the harbor
Oh dream, enchanting dream
The golden bird sings of spring

If I don a hairpin in my hair
Tonight, I love you, my sad tears
Moved into falling onto my flower robes

If the willows flutter in the wind
Tonight, where are you? My ceaseless
tears
Flower petals spilling down

Kanji

Sakura Kinomoto is your typical ten-year-old fourth-grader until she comes across a mysterious book containing a deck of cards one day. Unfortunately, she doesn't have much time to figure out what the cards mean because she unintentionally summons a magical gust of wind, scattering the cards all over the world. The Beast of the Seal, Keroberos (nicknamed Kero-chan), tells Sakura that she has released the mystical Clow Cards created by the sorcerer Clow Reed after being jolted awake from the book. The Cards aren't your typical toy. Each of them possesses incredible abilities, and because they prefer to act on their own, Clow encased all of the Cards in a book.

Now that the Cards have been set free, they pose a serious threat to the world, and it is up to Sakura to stop them from wreaking havoc!
Sakura is given the title of "Cardcaptor" and the Sealed Key by Keroberos, who assigns her the task of finding and recapturing all of the Cards. Sakura must learn to balance her new secret duty with the everyday troubles of a young girl involving love, family, and school, all while taking flight on her magical adventures as Sakura the Cardcaptor, with the help of her best friend Tomoyo Daidouji and Kero-chan's guidance.
