Destiny takes an unexpected turn when Yuuka Sasaki, mistaken for a contender, finds herself pitted against Chikage Fujimura, Japan's reigning champion. Despite her lack of experience, Yuuka astonishes everyone by holding her ground and bringing forth an exhilarating tied match. This exhilarating encounter ignites an inextinguishable passion within her, propelling her towards a resolute decision - to become a Circlet Bout player. Fast forward two years and Yuuka finds herself relocating to Tokyo, enrolling in the prestigious Union School, which provides a conducive environment for honing her skills and pursuing her grand dream of confronting Chikage once more.
