Argument

Taichi Yagami and his close-knit group of friends have embarked on a thrilling new chapter as they dive into the realm of junior high. However, an unexpected turn of events has left them disconnected from their beloved Digimon partners. To Taichi's astonishment, a distress signal cuts through the silence, beckoning him to the perilous Digital World. Once there, he uncovers a grim reality—Digimon are living in constant fear under the eerie rule of the enigmatic Digimon Emperor, who ruthlessly suppresses their ability to evolve! Simultaneously, Hikari Yagami and Takeru Takaishi find themselves brought together again as fellow classmates in fifth grade. Their academic journey intertwines with that of Daisuke Motomiya, whose striking resemblance to Taichi captures their attention. Joining them are the talented Miyako Inoue, a tech-savvy prodigy, and Iori Hida, Miyako's dependable neighbor. As fate would have it, these five remarkable individuals are bestowed with the extraordinary "D-3" Digivices, alongside Hikari and Takeru who still possess their original Digivices. Together, they form a new generation of courageous "Chosen Children" tasked with the monumental duty of saving the world once more. Armed with the powerful Armored Digi-Eggs, their mission is to thwart the sinister ambitions of the Digimon Emperor, whose malevolent influence threatens to engulf the Digital World in darkness.
