About

GunSmith Cats underwent a remarkable revival starting from July 22, 2005 to October 21, 2005, when it received a splendid 4-volume aizouban reprint. The English version of this sensational series was skillfully published by none other than Dark Horse. Interestingly, Dark Horse introduced the manga to the English-speaking world through monthly chapter issues between May 1, 1995 and August 15, 2001. Later, they gathered these captivating chapters into nine enthralling volumes, bridging the period between October 1, 1996 and February 13, 2002. As if to solidify its legacy, Dark Horse yet again astounded fans with the release of four all-inclusive omnibus volumes, following the phenomenal aizouban reprint, from March 14, 2007 to December 19, 2007. It's worth noting that GunSmith Cats also made its grand appearance in the esteemed British magazine, Manga Mafia, commencing its serialization in September 1996. Dark Horse admirably preserved the essence of the original work by retaining the Japanese right-to-left reading format, while duly omitting certain explicit scenes with the sincere approval of the esteemed creator, Kenichi Sonoda.
