Argument
Ryuunosuke Ibuki, beaten, robbed, and left for dead, finds himself at rock bottom. However, a sliver of hope emerges when a man named Kamo Serizawa extends a lifeline of opportunity. Serizawa grants Ibuki a chance at redemption by offering him a role as his personal assistant. Little does Ibuki know that this new position will transform him into nothing more than a subservient puppet to one of Kyoto's most influential figures. Meanwhile, amidst the growing turmoil of ronin attacks on innocent citizens, the shogunate takes action and dispatches the Roshigumi to restore peace in Kyoto.
