Argument
In a future not too distant, mankind embarks on an audacious quest to traverse the vast expanses of the cosmos. However, their interstellar odyssey takes an alarming turn when they encounter an extraordinary species of insectoid extraterrestrials known as the "Space Monsters." These formidable beings exhibit an unwavering determination to wipe humanity off the face of the universe, relentlessly inching closer to discovering our precious Earth. In response to this perilous threat, humanity harnesses their ingenuity to construct colossal mechanized warriors, piloted by a select group of gifted young individuals hailing from all corners of the globe. Amidst the backdrop of the startling alien revelation, we are introduced to Noriko Takaya, a formidable character and daughter of a revered deceased space captain. Despite her supposedly lackluster piloting talent, Noriko defies the odds and enrolls in a rigorous training facility. It is within these hallowed halls that her path intertwines with that of Kazumi Amano; a strikingly beautiful and exceptionally skilled prodigy. Together, they are faced with the daunting challenge of not only overcoming the traumatic scars of warfare but also the intricate tapestry of their own tumultuous emotions.
