Argument

Nanami Momozono, accompanied by her loyal familiars Tomoe and Mizuki, has braved numerous trials since assuming the revered role of Mikage Shrine's patron deity. Now, a prestigious opportunity arises as the winds of destiny carry an invitation from none other than Otohiko, the wind god himself. Nanami embraces the chance to attend the Divine Assembly in Izumo, the sacred abode of mighty gods. To her aid, she brings the enigmatic Mizuki, while trusty Tomoe, assuming Nanami's identity, stays behind to masquerade as the young deity at school. However, Nanami harbors a hidden motive for her journey: unearthing the whereabouts of Lord Mikage, the shrine's former deity, who mysteriously vanished. After navigating the treacherous landscapes and enchantments of Izumo, Nanami crosses paths with a charismatic and recherché tengu named Shinjirou Kurama, shrouded in an unlikely guise as a gothic idol. In dire need of Shinjirou, Botanmaru, a young tengu child, implores Nanami's aid to bring their prince back to Mount Kurama, rescuing their homeland from the tyrannical grasp of Jirou, who has forcefully assumed power. Yet, as Nanami delves deeper into this mission, she unveils an insidious darkness lurking within the shadowy recesses of the mountain, far surpassing the malevolence of Jirou's rule.
