Argument

Deep within the shadows, an ancient and enigmatic race known as the Shokujinki have effortlessly concealed their existence among humankind for countless centuries. Beware, for behind their human façade lies an insatiable hunger that compels them to transform into fearsome beasts, armed with colossal claws, as they mercilessly prey upon unsuspecting humans. Only one covert and elite sanctuary stands between their insidious domination and the fragile equilibrium of our world - the revered Kifuuken dojo. Intriguingly, fate intertwines the destinies of Toshihiko Momota, scion of the Kifuuken's esteemed lineage, and a bewitching enigma named Yuka Kamitsuki. Blinded by an inexplicable allure, Toshihiko's heart thrives on an irresistible bond with Yuka. However, unbeknownst to them, she harbors a terrifying secret - she is, in actuality, one of the dreaded Shokujinki. Complicating matters further, Toshihiko is duty-bound to eliminate such abominations. Meanwhile, the Kifuuken finds itself teetering on the precipice of discord, as Toshihiko's resolute brother, Kazuma, wages a relentless war against convention and strives to reinvent their ancient order.
