Argument

Chika Takami, an average girl by her own admission, has never delved into the realm of extracurricular activities or displayed any exceptional abilities. Nonetheless, her life takes an exhilarating turn after a transformative trip to Tokyo, where she stumbles upon a captivating stage reserved for even the most ordinary individuals like herself to flourish - the enchanting world of school idols. Fueled by the indomitable spirit of the now-defunct school idol group, μ's, Chika becomes fervently determined to ignite her own school idol club in her idyllic coastal hometown, Uranohoshi Girl's High School. But even before recruiting a single member, she encounters a formidable obstacle in the form of the resolute student council president, Dia Kurosawa, who vehemently opposes the club's establishment. Just as hope begins to fade, Chika encounters Riko Sakurauchi, a transfer student hailing from Otonokizaka High School, the very domain of μ's. Nourishing a timid disposition, but harboring a profound talent for playing the piano, Riko emerges as a promising candidate in Chika's pursuit, although persuading her to join their ranks proves to be no easy feat. Nevertheless, undeterred by adversity, Chika fearlessly propels herself forward, confronts challenges head-on, and resolves to surmount the barriers obstructing the formation of a school idol group that radiates brilliance akin to its illustrious predecessors.
