Argument
Upon boarding a ferry headed for Fuuka Academy, the journey of Mai Tokiha and her ailing sibling, Takumi, takes an unexpected turn when they spot a lone girl struggling amidst the vast expanse of water. Acting swiftly, they rescue her, only to find themselves under attack by a nefarious assailant who summons a fearsome mechanical monstrosity. In a display of remarkable prowess, despite still recuperating from her injuries, Mikoto Minagi wards off the sinister creature with a supernatural sword, leaving Mai awestruck.
