Argument

In the vast expanse of the future, humanity has successfully ventured beyond its earthly bounds, establishing colonies on distant planets. However, the tranquility is shattered when a formidable alien species, known as Victim, ruthlessly strikes these human settlements, leaving a desolate trail of destruction in its wake. Now, only one planet, Zion, remains, its very survival hanging by a thread. In a desperate bid to shield Zion from complete annihilation, the prestigious training institution GOA emerges. Its mission: to recruit young boys from the resilient colonies of Zion and hone them into skilled pilots. Their purpose? To operate the extraordinary Ingrids, legendary combat robots aptly named The Goddesses, that stand as the last line of defense for Zion's inhabitants. However, to qualify as a pilot, these boys must possess a rare blood type, EO, coupled with an extraordinary ability known as EX. Enter Zero, initially identified as Candidate 88, who fortuitously finds himself thrust into the intense environment of the GOA facility. Fate appears to have an unexpected twist in store for him when, by a twist of circumstance, Zero finds himself tumbling into the cockpit of the mighty Ingrid Eeva-Leena.
