Miyuki-chan in Wonderland (Japanese:, Hepburn: Fushigi no Kuni no Miyuki-chan) is a comedy yuri manga written and illustrated by Clamp, an all-female manga artist team made up of Satsuki Igarashi, Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi, and Nanase Ohkawa. The story follows the titular protagonist, a Japanese high-school girl who is drawn into a variety of worlds populated by women who find her attractive.
Miyuki-chan in Wonderland, based on Lewis Carroll's 1865 children's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, ran as a serial in the manga magazine Newtype from 1993 to 1995. In September 1995, Kadokawa Shoten compiled the seven chapters into a single bound volume. While writer Ohkawa originally envisioned Miyuki-chan in Wonderland as the first chapter, the team decided to continue with it because it was fun. In 1995, the first two chapters were adapted into an image album and an original video animation.
Tokyopop announced in 2002 that Miyuki-chan in Wonderland had been licensed for an English-language translation, which was released in October 2003. It is no longer in print. It elicited a wide range of responses from critics, ranging from praise as cute entertainment to criticism as Clamp's worst work. Clamp's eponymous protagonist has appeared in other works by the artist, including the music video Clamp in Wonderland (1994), Clamp School Detectives (1997), and Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle (2003โ2009). On September 24, 2014, Viz Media acquired the manga's rights and digitally published it.
