Argument

In the midst of the 21st century, our world has been blessed (or perhaps burdened) with the presence of extraterrestrial beings coexisting among us humans. Enter the tranquil town of Enohana, where the destitute student, Chigasaki Mayuko, unexpectedly finds herself sharing her humble abode with a peculiar visitor – NieA, an alien of the downtrodden class, aptly referred to as "Under Sevens". While Mayuko passionately strives to make ends meet, tirelessly battling the stacked odds of life, NieA nonchalantly disregards the consequences of her impulsive actions. An unlikely pair, constantly generating unexpected sparks, they navigate their compelling dynamic against the backdrop of a lingering mystery: the presence of a shattered alien mothership, casting a shadow of uncertainty over their lives.
