Dairugger XV was actually an exploration robot in the original storyline as broadcast in Japan, as well as an planned peace-keeping force. The World is in a prosperous time. The Terran League president (Voltron's "Cosmos Alliance") is launching a mission to explore beyond the cosmos. The U.S. version will rename the "Galbeston Empire" to "Drule Empire," along with a reasonable amount of violence and sexual content being edited to keep the series appropriate for transmission to the general public.

This strange characteristic is what leads him to look for a supposed long-haired ghost who lives on a hill in an abandoned building. Makoto Niwa carefully explains how many positive and negative youthful encounters he is engaging in as if he were to rate his own life. He moves to a new town to stay with his aunt when his parents go abroad, accepting the transition and eager for a fresh start. He could never have taken into account the presence of an elusive long-lost cousin, as ordinary as he had expected his adolescence to be.He finds the cousin he never heard about when he moves into his aunt's house: Erio Touwa. She couldn't be more different despite being Makoto's age: Erio prefers to cover herself in a futon all day rather than go to school.

However, every night Earl Dracula goes out on the prowl he finds himself engaged in some kind of disturbance that leads to him causing various trouble for the residents of the city.
Despite no one in Japan believing in vampires, his very presence is causing trouble among the town's citizens.

At first, though reluctant, Yuuga's words reflect her personal desire for something more from her life, and she agrees with his offer.However, when a mysterious group starts to collect slaves quickly, Eiya gets caught up in a game much more dangerous than she could ever have expected.
