Argument

In the depths of Saint Mikhailov Academy, a veil of mystery shrouds the unsettling disappearance of Tomo Yamanobe's father, the esteemed former headmaster. All that remains is a cryptic masterpiece known as the enigmatic "icon." As whispers of a notorious assailant targeting the academy's female students circulate, the atmosphere becomes tinged with fear and unease. One fateful day, as Tomo and her sister Mafuyu Oribe trudge their way home after enduring distressing school ordeals, a fateful encounter interrupts their grim journey. Tomo stumbles upon a wounded and ethereal silver-haired boy, whose form abruptly vanishes into thin air even as tender care is bestowed upon him. Driven by curiosity, Mafuyu ventures forth to find the fleeting stranger, only to face an unimaginable threat as she stumbles upon the blazing inferno consuming the very church that houses the mysterious icon. In a harrowing twist of fate, a malevolent figure endowed with the extraordinary ability to manipulate magnesium viciously assails Mafuyu. Yet, emerging from the shadows, the enigmatic silver-haired youth named Alexander Nikolaevich—dubbed Sasha Hell—sweeps in, harnessing dominion over iron and pooling his powers to rescue Mafuyu from the clutches of darkness. And so unfolds a bewildering revelation: Sasha is a rare breed known as a "qwaser," an entity boasting miraculous dominion over a specific element, achieved by imbibing soma, a peculiar life force harvested through the act of breastfeeding. Plunged into a perplexing realm of uncertainty, Mafuyu grapples to make sense of this extraordinary circumstance, only to find Sasha, the enigmatic qwaser, infiltrating her very classroom the following day. With the menacing shadow of other qwasers lurking ominously close to them, what fate befalls Tomo and Mafuyu as they strive to salvage what semblance of normalcy remains in their precarious school life?

About

Seikon no Qwaser draws inspiration from the first seven volumes of the manga, serving as its primary source material. However, this captivating anime takes a thrilling departure, presenting an exclusive finale that will leave fans on the edge of their seats. It's worth noting that the initial broadcast underwent significant censorship, mainly due to the abundance of explicit and provocative scenes.
