Argument

Kasahara Iku is the first woman to join the Library Task Force, according to Toshokan Sensou. In the near future, Japan's population will be forced to comply with the Media Enhancement Law, which will censor all books and media. The Library Defense Force was formed to combat this. To defend themselves against the Media Enhancement Law Commission, all major libraries are outfitted with a military Task Force that is tasked with defending the people's books and media freedom.
This anime follows Iku and her fellow soldiers as they fight the Media Enhancement Law Commission's oppression of various special books and artifacts. A comedy, a love story, and a war story all rolled into one.
