The "fun horror joke comedy" revolves around Tatami-chan's story, a sardonic ghost from Iwate Prefecture now residing among other ghosts, supernatural beings and humans in Tokyo. The unemployed Tatami-chan also has to deal with job-hunting as well as paying for food, water and electricity in addition to coping with otherworldly matters.

The job of the Armanoid aliens, who plan to conquer Earth, turns out to be a series of space incidents. At the Future Technology Innovation Center Professor Tachibana gathers a team around him and plans five state-of - the-art vehicles for Shin, Go, Lisa and Captain Kenmotsu. In 38 episodes, three of the Tester vehicles combine to make the giant robot Zero Tester, which sees successfully off the Armanoid invasion. The remainder of the show, titled ZT: Save Earth! (Chikyu wo Mamotte!) was directed at a younger age group and featured a new Gallos aliens attack on them.

Suddenly, Earth is invaded by an evil force, Jaaku. Yet from the Earth the light emerges, and battles against Jaaku. It is run by Eldran on Raijin Oh. Since ancient times Eldran has covered the world. During the battle, however, he was injured and Raijin-Oh falls to the ground. At the other side, Jaaku scatters all over the world her arms, Aku-Darmer.

Also, they have additional lessons in the 3rd and 5th grade class in Youshou high school. Eldran leaves them with the Raijin Medal and tells them to save the Earth for him and then he is gone. The Earth Defense Agency consisting of elementary students is created in this way.

The plot takes place in the year 2387, on planet Maris. The Nozas started genocidally killing all humans around this time, to lay eggs and replicate on the earth. Zoids are beast-like battle devices that are used in both day-to-day use such as transportation, and special use such as fighting. Some forms of Zoids, known as Organoids, are living species with miniature zoids. These Organoids have the ability to combine with a non-living Zoid and make it a lot stronger.In an abandoned laboratory, Van (Ban) Freiheit finds a Zoid Organoid while fleeing from two strangers piloting zoids. Even in the laboratory, there is a curious girl in an animated suspension tunnel. He breaks open the door, and takes with him her and the Organoid. The Organoid fuses with it, finding a damaged Shield Liger Zoid outside nearby, and repairs the damages.
Van makes his escape, calling the Organoid Zeke, and promising to keep him as a friend. The kid, who says her name is Fiona, wants to find something called Zoids Eve and so start their adventure with Van, Zeke and Fiona.

D.R. Is a delivery boy who works for a company named Mach Storm to raise money for the legendary Alpha Zoid quest. A Zoid he heard rumors from his father that he believes deeply in.
