Argument

The "Special Public Security Fifth Division Third Mobile Assault Eighth Unit," or "Unit Eight," is a police unit specializing in dealing with criminals who wield dangerous wearable technology known as "Willwear" in a post-disaster Tokyo. The squadron is frequently chastised by the public for their carelessness and disregard for protocol, despite having their own Willwear.
Asami Kazari is the newest member of Unit Eight, having been sent in by the government as an undercover agent with special instructions from the higher-ups. Determined to sort out what she expects to be a bunch of inept jerks, she instead discovers a group of well-intentioned experts who employ highly effective—albeit unconventional—methods while being hampered by strict regulations. In Active Raid: Kidou Kyoushuushitsu Dai Hachi Gakari, Unit Eight fights crime and overcomes unexpected foes with the help of their newest member.
