It was serialized from April 2002 and January 2005 by Shueisha in Ribon, and collected in seven bound volumes. It was adapted as a 26-episode anime TV series produced by TMS Entertainment and Animax, broadcasted from April to October 2004 on Animax in Japan. The series concerns a teenage child, Kippei, who becomes his 5-year-old cousin's caretaker, Yuzuyu, after her mother leaves her.
