Argument
In the twilight of an ordinary school day, the mundane life of Yomogi Asanaka takes an unexpected turn. As he stumbles upon a famished and peculiar stranger beneath a bridge, the young, first-year student is about to embark on a remarkable journey. This enigmatic wayfarer, known as Gauma, discloses an extraordinary truth to Yomogi—he is a "kaiju user," an individual who grapples with fearsome monsters that befall their city. With the advent of the subsequent night, Yomogi's path converges with Gauma once more, crossroads intertwining his destiny with that of his classmate, the alluring Yume Minami. Coinciding with their reunion, a menacing kaiju emerges in a densely populated area, casting a sinister shadow over the city. In a manifestation of Gauma's still-nascent control over the kaiju, he unveils a mysterious artifact nestled within an iridescent satchel. By harnessing its power, a gargantuan mechanized behemoth, known as Dynazenon, is summoned into existence. This colossal entity's activation, however, necessitates the united efforts of four individuals, thus ensnaring Gauma, Yomogi, Minami, and Koyomi Yamanaka—a wanderer who happened upon the scene—within its cockpit. Their fateful encounter with the kaiju serves as the genesis of a gripping tale, entangling them in a fierce clash against sinister foes known as the kaiju eugenicists. These malevolent kaiju users manipulate the monstrous entities with malicious intent, posing a dire threat to the city's denizens. Together, they strive to unlock the full potential of Dynazenon, unyielding in their quest to safeguard their world from ominous forces.
