Argument

In the fateful Battle of Sekigahara in 1600, Toyohisa Shimazu valiantly protects his retreating troops as their rearguard. However, his bravery lands him in a peculiar predicament. Suddenly, he finds himself engulfed in a modern, ethereal hallway, drenched in pristine whiteness. As if guided by fate, Toyohisa is confronted by the enigmatic Murasaki who leads him towards countless doors, concealing mysteries and possibilities within. Once Toyohisa traverses the threshold of the nearest entryway, he is swiftly transported to an astounding realm that defies all conventions of his familiar world. Within this extraordinary land, supernatural creatures roam freely, intermingling with renowned warriors from different epochs long thought deceased. An unexpected fraternity blooms between Toyohisa and the notorious warlord Nobunaga Oda, alongside the legendary archer Yoichi Suketaka Nasu. Together, they commence a quest within this enigmatic land, fueled by political unrest that ravages the continent. Traversing the profound fabric of space and time, these valiant souls emerge as "Drifters," summoned to confront the malevolent "Ends" responsible for forging the tyrannical Orte Empire. The Ends' insidious plot seeks to bring about the extinction of the Drifters, while concurrently persecuting elves and other demihumans dwelling within their dominion. In this crucial hour, Toyohisa and his unorthodox band of heroes take up arms, engaging in a momentous clash that transcends worlds, pledging themselves to defend the oppressed subjects of the empire. Their valiance shall not waver as the Ends strengthen their stranglehold on power.
