Argument

Take a look at the argument of Fruits Basket (2019) Song Lyrics:

Tooru Honda has been living in the Souma residence for a year, and she has developed stronger bonds with the residents Shigure, Kyou, and Yuki. She's also grown closer to the rest of the Souma family and has learned their ancestral secret, as well as assisting them with a variety of personal issues. However, the closer Tooru gets to their secret, the more she realizes it contains a darker truth than she first assumed.
Tooru is invited to spend her days with the Soumas, primarily Kyou and Yuki, as summer approaches. Tooru wishes for a relaxing vacation, but her close ties to the two boys and the rest of the Soumas could cause problems.

Their carefree time together is hampered as they grow closer by old hardships and feelings from the past that resurface. The members of the zodiac are also awakened by the Eternal Banquet, and they must attend to their responsibilities alongside the family's unnerving leader, Akito Souma.
Will Tooru's life with the Soumas remain peaceful as the banquet approaches and a plethora of feelings to be resolved, or will she find herself in a situation from which she cannot escape?

About Fruits Basket (2019)

You can learn more about Fruits Basket (2019) Song Lyrics:

Fruits Basket (Japanese:, Hepburn: Furtsu Basuketto) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya. It is sometimes abbreviated as Furuba or Fruba (). From 1998 to 2006, it was serialized in Hakusensha's semi-monthly Japanese shjo manga magazine Hana to Yume. The name of a popular game played in Japanese elementary schools, which is alluded to in the series, inspired the series' title.
Fruits Basket is the story of Tohru Honda, an orphan girl who discovers, after meeting Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure Soma, that twelve members of the Soma family are cursed to transform into their animal forms when they are weak, stressed, or embraced by anyone of the opposite sex who is not possessed by a spirit of the zodiac.

Tohru learns of the hardships and pain endured by the afflicted members of the Soma family as the series progresses, and she helps them heal their emotional wounds through her own generous and loving nature. Tohru discovers more about herself and how much others care for her as she learns more about Yuki, Kyo, and the rest of the mysterious Soma family.
In September 2015, Takaya started a sequel called Fruits Basket Another, and in April 2019, he started a spin-off series called The Three Musketeers Arc. The original manga was adapted into a 26-episode anime television series directed by Akitaro Daichi by Studio Deen in 2001.

TMS Entertainment's second anime television series adaptation, directed by Yoshihide Ibata, premiered in April 2019, with the first season airing from April to September 2019, the second season from April to September 2020, and the third and final season from April to June 2021.
