Argument
Two years ago, Mitsuki Kouyama's beloved friend, Eichi Sakurai, embarked on a new journey to the United States before she could gather the courage to confess her deep feelings for him. Full Moon wo Sagashite diverges from its manga source after just a single episode, taking on an entirely new course that promises to captivate anime enthusiasts. Interestingly, VIZ Media had initially acquired the rights to the series, releasing the first 28 episodes on DVD. However, they then decided to discontinue the publication of this exceptional title. Luckily, fans were able to enjoy the complete series, albeit with subtitles only, as it was made available for streaming on Hulu. Regrettably, this delightful experience came to an end in August 2013 when the series departed from the platform.
