Argument

The captivating series initiates with the captivating journey of Chitose Fujinomiya, a young lady who experiences the rollercoaster ride from opulence to destitution and yet manages to retain her snobbish demeanor. Tragically, following the demise of her affluent father, Chitose finds herself on the brink of bankruptcy, leading to her expulsion from the illustrious Tokai no Gakuen, also known as City Academy. With nothing but the clothes on her back and a solitary pink goldfish named Gyopi-chan, a treasured memento of her late father, Chitose is left with a profound sense of emptiness. Aimlessly wandering, she ultimately collapses on the premises of the humble yet jovial Inaka no Chugakko, a rural junior high school where students exude a rugged charm, and farm animals regularly grace classrooms and school grounds. As Chitose recovers, she hesitantly decides to enroll at the school, only to be repelled by the overwhelming sense of destitution that pervades its environment, an alien world she is unaccustomed to.
