Argument
Never enter into a contract with a wet goddess you've just met. When Ryosuke Kaga makes the mistake of agreeing to let Lisara Restole use some of his "essence" to stay in this world, he learns the hard way. Because, despite her ravishing looks, Lisara is a Shinigami, a Goddess of Death. However, unlike any other Shinigami, she does not take years off his life. Instead, she suffocates him with something far more heinous by sucking his lecherous spirit and draining his ability to enjoy... er... the things that teenage boys normally spend the majority of their time thinking about! And now that he's been de-debased and de-debauched by her un-dirty trick, the poor regenerated degenerate's only chance of regaining his licentiousness is to join the queen of mental-clean on her quest, because once she leaves our mortal plane, he reverts to his previous level of immorality! However, the termination of his probation is not guaranteed, because Goddesses of Death can be harsh mistresses, and going back to being sleazy will be anything but easy!

Ren Kawahara's manga series Ao-chan Can't Study! (Japanese:, Hepburn: Midara na Ao-chan wa Benky ga Dekinai, lit. "Lewd Ao-chan Can't Study") is a series written and illustrated by Ren Kawahara. From October 2015 to December 2018, the series was serialized in Kodansha's Shnen Magazine Edge magazine and collected into eight tankbon volumes. Kodansha USA, the manga's North American licensee, began digitally releasing the manga in English in September 2018. In January 2019, a sequel manga was released, and Silver Link's anime television series adaptation aired from April 6 to June 22, 2019.
