Argument

As Kobayashi embarks on another day at her workplace, she is taken aback when she opens her apartment door and is confronted by an intimidating sight—the head of a dragon, peering at her from the balcony. To her astonishment, the dragon quickly transforms into a charming, well-endowed young girl exuding energy, dressed as a maid, and introduces herself as Tooru. It is revealed that Kobayashi had encountered the dragon the previous night during a tipsy escapade to the mountains. Given that the mythical creature found itself without a place to call home, Kobayashi kindly offered her own abode as a sanctuary. Consequently, Tooru graciously avails herself of the opportunity to repay her savior's generosity by assuming the role of a personal maidservant. Although Kobayashi feels remorseful and somewhat hesitant about fulfilling her well-intentioned offer, the combination of guilt and Tooru's extraordinary draconic powers persuades her to welcome the girl into her home. However, despite Tooru's impressive skills and efficiency as a maid, her eccentric and idiosyncratic methods of housekeeping often leave Kobayashi horrified and, occasionally, create more chaos than order. Moreover, the circumstances surrounding the dragon's unexpected sojourn on Earth turn out to be far more intricate than initially perceived, as Tooru bears within herself a multitude of intense emotions and distressing reminiscences. As if that weren't enough, Tooru's presence also attracts various other mythical beings to their shared domicile, each bringing their own peculiar personalities into the mix. Although Kobayashi endeavors to navigate this bizarre predicament to the best of her ability, she finds herself utterly unprepared for this extraordinary existence as the keeper of a dragon maid.
