Argument

Dr. Kenzou Tenma, a distinguished neurosurgeon on the cusp of marrying the director's daughter, seemed destined for greatness within the hospital hierarchy. However, fate had other plans, when a seemingly insignificant event turned his life upside down. It all began with a life-or-death decision that would haunt him forever; forced to choose between saving a renowned performer or a nameless immigrant worker, Dr. Tenma faced a moral dilemma that forever shattered his peaceful existence. Against the applause of his colleagues, fiancee, and the hospital director, Dr. Tenma was plagued by guilt over the death he inadvertently caused. His once-promising future began to crumble before his eyes. Yet, rather than succumbing to the pressures of the system, Dr. Tenma decided to stand his ground in the face of a similar life-altering choice. This time, he chose to prioritize the life of a young boy named Johan Liebert over the esteemed mayor of his town.
