Argument

In the idyllic town of Sakuranomori, a close-knit group of young friends gears up to bid a bittersweet farewell to one of their own. Alas, the whims of fate compel Sana Hidaka to leave his tranquil childhood haven and embark on a new adventure in the bustling city of Tokyo. Despite the pang in his heart, he must bid adieu to his beloved companions: the kind-hearted Aoi Oribe, the spirited Wakatsuki twins, Shuri and Shuusuke, and the radiant and vivacious Nanaka Yatsushiro. However, Sana firmly believes that despite the geographical distance, the timeless bond of their treasured friendship will endure. Fast forward five years, and Sana, now a 16-year-old high school student, returns to the familiar streets of his hometown yearning to recapture the essence of his past life. Yet, his nostalgic aspirations are quickly shattered as he discovers that not only has his beloved town undergone minimal change, but his cherished friends have been transformed as well.
