Included in Clannad's 8th and final DVD ~After Story~ is an extra episode set in an alternate universe. Here the primary heroine in place of Furukawa Nagisa is Fujibayashi Kyou.

Love can be incredibly thrilling but terribly painful too. Kyou's sister Fujibayashi Ryou is in love with the male protagonist Okazaki Tomoya. Ryou manages to sum up the courage to ask him out with the help of Kyou and now Tomoya and Ryou are a team. But as things progress, Kyou starts realizing her feelings for Tomoya, and a love-triangle is formed.

The sisters discover the pains of love when it is unveiled, and seek to distinguish between the two loves of their lives: Tomoya, or one another.

Maple Town is a 1986 Japanese slice of life anime series produced by Chifude Asakura and directed by Junichi Sato, also known as Maple Town Stories ( Japanese: メイプルタウン物語, Hepburn: Meipuru Taun Monogatari )The series, directed by Toei Animation, consists of 52 half-hour episodes, which aired from January 19, 1986 to January 11, 1987 on TV Asahi in Japan. It centers on the adventures of Patty Rabbit, Bobby Bear and their families in a small futuristic anthropomorphic town called Maple Town.
The show was followed by a 50-episode sequel, New Maple Town Stories: Palm Town Segment, which only retained Patty Rabbit ( Japanese: メイプルタウン物語, Hepburn: Meipuru Taun Monogatari ) from both shows, while residents of Maple Town made cameos from time to time.

The program produced collectable figurines with changing clothes, as well as homes, furniture and vehicles. Tonka was the US licensee and distributor.
