Argument

Meet Morimura Aiko, a spirited junior high school student who appears a tad shorter than her peers. Mysteries shroud her father's sudden disappearance on a luxurious yacht a decade ago. Meanwhile, her mother, a talented hat designer, jetted off to Paris, leaving Aiko under the watchful eye of her caring uncle, Mr. Fujinami. Adding to her heartache, Aiko tragically lost her beloved pet dog, Papi, in a heart-wrenching car accident. But just as the clouds of misfortune seem to overwhelm her, a ray of light emerges in the form of a charming canine - Spank. With his arrival, Aiko's world undergoes a magical transformation as she discovers newfound joy and reason to wear a genuine smile once again.
