Argument

This impressive triumph propelled them to the national team semifinals, only to narrowly miss victory against the eventual champions. Sadly, this defeat spelled the unfortunate disbandment of the esteemed mahjong club. Fast-forward six years, an elementary school prodigy named Shizuno Takakamo unexpectedly crosses paths with the newly transferred student, Nodoka Haramura. A deep bond quickly forms between them, and the duo eventually finds themselves enrolled in Achiga Girls' Academy. However, their joy is short-lived as Nodoka transfers out of the school during their second year. A pivotal turning point occurs when Shizuno catches a glimpse of Nodoka showcasing her extraordinary mahjong skills on national television as the reigning middle school individual mahjong champion. It is at this moment that Shizuno's unwavering determination drives her to resurrect the dormant Achiga's mahjong club, igniting the flames of hope and redemption.
