Argument
In a distant future world known as Sand Land, the daunting cessation of the only river that once sustained the entire realm has cast its inhabitants into an arid abyss. Severe water scarcity now haunts the land, exacerbated by the avaricious actions of the insatiable king, who shamelessly exploits their dire predicament through exorbitant water bottle prices. In this extraordinary universe, where demons and humans coexist under the looming specter of drought, a valiant sheriff named Rao dares to confront the formidable Beelzebub. Driven by the urgent need for a demon ally, Rao urgently solicits Beelzebub's aid in a perilous quest to locate the elusive Phantom Lake – a mythical haven where enigmatic avian creatures known as Water Finches draw sustenance from its revitalizing waters. Initially reluctant to partake in this treacherous expedition, Beelzebub ultimately succumbs to the irresistible lure of a substantial bribe, capitulating to join Rao. Together, they embark on an extraordinary journey, accompanied by a seasoned demon named Thief, united in their pursuit to unearth the enigmatic lake to restore hope and vitality to all creatures, be they demon or human.
