Argument

Kouta Hasegawa, a seemingly typical high school student, harbors a deep affection for his cherished Pompompurin plushie, a delightful Sanrio character resembling an adorable Golden Retriever. However, a distressing incident occurs when Kouta is unjustly ridiculed by his peers, branding him as "girly" due to his affinity for Sanrio creations. This unwarranted humiliation causes Kouta to bury his affection for Pompompurin in shame. Little does he know that fate has something extraordinary in store. Unexpectedly, Kouta encounters a group of fellow students who harbor the same admiration for Sanrio characters. Among them are Yuu Mizuno, a charismatic young lad with a magnetic charm; Shunsuke Yoshino, a skilled soccer player; Ryou Nishimiya, a diligent library assistant; and Seiichirou Minamoto, the resolute student council president. Bolstered by their friendship, Kouta discovers that his passion for Sanrio should be worn proudly, unashamedly defying societal expectations. Together, they embark on an exciting mission to create a dazzling play for the upcoming cultural festival.
