Argument
The aftermath of Iona Urazoe's extraordinary fan gathering has had an enduring impact on Ruuko Kominato. Now armed with the knowledge behind being a Selector, Ruuko finds herself at a critical juncture alongside her trusted companions Yuzuki Kurebayashi and Hitoe Uemura. Tentatively, they question their involvement in battles that could potentially disrupt the lives they hold dear. Conversely, Chiyori, another Selector, remains oblivious to the dire consequences that follow a defeat, disregarding all cautionary advice. While Ruuko endeavors to steer Chiyori away from a cruel fate, she stumbles upon a remarkable WIXOSS novel that unravels the enigma behind LRIGs and the very existence of Selector battles. Meanwhile, Akira Aoi, with her modeling career resurrected under the influence of Ulith, who now inhabits the body of Iona, finds stability once more. Pledging unwavering loyalty, Akira aligns herself with Ulith's nefarious plans. Unbeknownst to her, Ulith meticulously plots to manipulate a familiar LRIG in order to not only torment Ruuko relentlessly but also thwart her from ever achieving her heartfelt desire.
