As a result, some unfortunate souls find themselves relegated to the wilderness as refugees, excluded from the city's embrace. Yet, where there is an imperfect plan, there exists unwavering defiance. Enter a remarkable assembly of individuals who dare to challenge the status quo. Among them are Kuniko Houjou, an inheritor of a renegade town; Mikuni, an enigmatic and formidable child sequestered within a clandestine sanctuary; Kunihito Kusanagi, a loyal soldier of the technologically advanced and exclusive Atlas monopoly; Karin Ishida, a prodigious genius versed in the intricacies of global markets; and the nefarious Ryouko Naruse, orchestrating Atlas' ascendancy over this brave new world.
