Argument
After narrowly escaping from a harrowing encounter with a bloodthirsty vampire, Koyomi Araragi finds himself deeply concerned about the peculiar behavior of his dear friend and savior, Tsubasa Hanekawa. Intuitively sensing that something is amiss, his suspicions are confirmed when he stumbles upon Hanekawa sporting a mysterious bandage on her face. Despite her attempts to dismiss it as a mere domestic mishap, Araragi's instincts tell him otherwise.
