Argument

The ocean, once a pristine sanctuary for a diverse array of marine life, has sadly fallen victim to human negligence and pollution. Recklessly, humans have mindlessly dumped their garbage into the waters, desecrating the very home that countless creatures rely upon. But now, a remarkable, determined squid emerges from the depths, vowing to confront humanity's selfish actions head-on. Boasting a formidable arsenal of squid-like abilities, including powerful hair-tentacles, the uncanny talent to expel ink, and the ability to manipulate bioluminescence at will, Ika Musume takes it upon herself to rise above the waves and seek retribution. Her first target: Lemon Beach House, a cozy seaside eatery run by the Aizawa sisters, Eiko and Chizuru. Brimming with confidence, she declares war on them, only to find herself utterly out of her element. In a comically disastrous turn of events, Ika Musume inadvertently damages a section of the beach house's wall while trying to exhibit her superior squid prowess. Caught in a bind, she begrudgingly agrees to work as a waitress to repay the repair costs. Temporarily stranded on land after a humbling defeat at the hands of the Aizawa sisters, Ika Musume is compelled to put her grand plans of world domination on hold.
