Argument

In the summer of 2006, under the bewitching night sky, the Nanba brothers, Mutta and Hibito, share a life-altering encounter – an otherworldly craft soaring towards the Moon. Now, as an adult, reality has veered far from Mutta's lofty childhood dreams. Absorbed in the humdrum existence of the automotive industry, his ardor for space exploration has dimmed. On the other hand, Hibito steadily pursues his astronomical aspirations, poised to become the first Japanese man to tread the lunar surface. Yet, when life takes an unexpected turn, Mutta finds himself thrust into an extraordinary opportunity – a chance to bridge the astronomical gap and chase his long-lost ambition. The prestigious Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency, known as JAXA, graciously extends an invitation, inviting Mutta to partake in their fiercely competitive astronaut selection process.
