Argument

Take a look at the argument of Wandering Son Song Lyrics:

Effeminate fifth grader Shuuichi Nitori is considered by most to be one of the prettiest girls in school, but she is indeed biologically male, much to her dismay. Luckily, Shuuichi has a childhood friend who has similar feelings of confusion related to gender identity: the lanky tomboy Yoshino Takatsuki, who is not identified as a girl though biologically female. These two friends share a common secret and find comfort in each other; however, their lives become even more complicated as they have to tread a new school's turbulent waters, try to make new friends and fight to retain old ones.

We must learn to cope with the harsh realities of growing up, transexuality, relationships, and acceptance in the face of almost insurmountable odds.Takako Shimura's Hourou Musuko is about Shuuuichi and Yoshino's attempts to discover their true self as they reach puberty, make friends, fall in love and face some very real and challenging choices..
