Argument

Daisuke Higashida, a diligent freshman at Higashizaka High School, leads a seemingly tranquil life. However, beneath his composed exterior lies an undeniable dissatisfaction with his unenthusiastic and energy-draining family. Suddenly, upheaval strikes when his father's once-thriving company plummets into bankruptcy, leaving Daisuke to bear the brunt of its consequences. With allowances, cellphone bills, and commuter tickets now out of reach, Daisuke's father sternly orders him to seek part-time employment. Determined to find a solution that doesn't involve pedaling 15 kilometers to school every day, Daisuke embarks on a quest to secure a position at a nearby family restaurant.
