Jin-Rou, the captivating anime film released in 1999, received significant acclaim and numerous accolades for its outstanding qualities. Notably, it secured the prestigious second place for the Best Asian Film award at the esteemed Fant-Asia Film Festival in Canada. Further adding to its triumph, Jin-Rou clinched the remarkable Best Film – Animation title in the Fantasia Section Award category, as well as the esteemed Special Jury Award at Portugal's Fantasporto Film Festival. In recognition of its excellence, the film was bestowed with the Minami Toshiko Award during the renowned Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival in 2000.
