Argument
In the world of Hiroki Fujisawa and Takuya Shirakawa, two passions reign supreme: their infatuation with their classmate Sayuri Sawatari and their awe-inspiring fascination with the majestic Ezo Tower that looms magnificently across the Tsugaru Strait. Drawn to the tower's boundless heights, Hiroki and Takuya embark on a remarkable journey by fashioning an aircraft from a serendipitously discovered fallen drone. With resolute determination, they christen their creation the Bella Ciela, harboring an audacious dream to conquer the summit of this extraordinary structure. As fate would have it, their beloved Sayuri joins them, igniting their shared aspiration to ascend to the otherworldly apex of the tower as a triumphant trio. Yet, amidst their pursuit, a turbulent North-South division wrenches Japan apart, provoking disarray close to the tower's base where the American-controlled Southern islands encounter hostility from the Soviet Union-occupied Northern territories. However, their union faces an unforeseen tragedy as Sayuri mysteriously vanishes, leaving Hiroki and Takuya bereft and longing for her ethereal presence. Little do they know that she has succumbed to a debilitating sleep disorder that has held her in a comatose state for the past three years. As Hiroki and Takuya delve deeper into the source of her enigmatic unconsciousness, they unravel a startling connection between Sayuri's dormant state and the enigmatic tower they vowed to conquer together. Now, armed with an even greater purpose, they embark on an arduous odyssey, seeking to not only reach the pinnacle of the Ezo Tower but also to unlock the secrets that lie within its hallowed walls.
