Argument

One fateful summer night in the year 2006, a mesmerizing and inexplicable event unfolded before the eyes of Mutta Nanba and his younger brother, Hibito. This awe-inspiring spectacle sparked an unyielding determination within both siblings - a fervent vow to traverse the uncharted territories of space and become accomplished astronauts. While Hibito set his sights on the lunar surface, Mutta, fueled by the indomitable spirit of sibling rivalry, aspired to conquer the crimson planet: Mars. Fast forward to the present day, and Mutta finds himself submerged in the humdrum of adult life, toiling away diligently at an automotive company. In stark contrast, Hibito is comfortably positioned to become the very first Japanese man to set foot upon the Moon. However, when unfortunate circumstances lead to Mutta losing his job, a remarkable and unforeseen opportunity presents itself, thrusting him back into the celestial race. The Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), renowned for their pioneering efforts in space exploration, extends an invitation that reignites Mutta's fading dreams. With self-doubt incessantly gnawing at his resolve, Mutta realizes he cannot afford to squander this once-in-a-lifetime chance.
