Argument

Clutching his prized Gibson guitar, Mafuyu Satou emerges from the shadows of his humble abode, poised to embark upon yet another eventful day of his high school life. In a serendipitous twist of fate, Satou finds himself perched upon a tranquil section of the gymnasium staircase, lulled into a peaceful slumber. However, his reverie is abruptly interrupted by Ritsuka Uenoyama, a fellow student who can't help but chastise Satou for allowing the once impeccable strings of his guitar to succumb to the perils of rust and disrepair. Intrigued by Uenoyama's vast knowledge of the instrument, Satou implores him to not only restore his beloved guitar but also to guide him in acquiring the skills to play it proficiently. After much deliberation, Uenoyama finally relents and extends an invitation for Satou to partake in a jam session alongside his musical cohorts: the talented bassist Haruki Nakayama and the rhythmic virtuoso Akihiko Kaji. As Satou's voice resonates with an ethereal beauty, Uenoyama becomes determined to elevate him to the coveted position of the band's lead vocalist. Initially hesitant, Satou ultimately succumbs to the allure of this opportunity after an emotionally-charged reunion with a long-lost acquaintance. Supported wholeheartedly by his newfound friends, Satou embarks on a transformational journey, not only mastering the art of guitar playing but also unraveling the enigmatic circumstances that led this instrument of profound significance into his possession.
